Leather care instructions

Ridge leather will develop character as it reacts to sunlight, absorbs oils from daily handling, and gathers nicks and scratches over time.

This natural aging process gives each leather piece a unique patina, adding personality and richness with continued use.

In order to keep your leather in great shape for years to come, refer to this guide for care and cleaning instructions:

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RIDGE LEATHER

1) Keep the leather clean. If it gets dirty, dust it with a dry cloth. Follow with a soft damp cloth in a light, circular motion to remove any dirt or grime.

 

2) While your leather will develop a beautiful natural patina over time, cleaning it with leather-specific products regularly will help maintain a nice look and feel.

 

3) If you live in a dry climate and the exterior of your leather becomes rough over time, soften it with leather-appropriate conditioners.

Lost & Broken Replacement Program

How Does the Replacement Program Work?

 

If your sunglasses, snow goggles, snow goggle lenses, blue light glasses, or React frames or lenses become damaged for any reason at all, you may request a new pair by submitting a request via the Replacement Program online process via Shady Rays website at wegotyou.shadyrays.com. If you lose your sunglasses or blue light glasses, you may also submit a request for replacement using this same process.

 

Proof of purchase may be required to make a Replacement Request. You may also be required to provide photographs of the damage to your item.

 

A processing fee is required for all replacements. The following processing fees apply based on the ship to address of the replacement item:

THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO

1) NEVER clean leather with detergents, cleaning sprays, or harsh cleaning products in of any kind! All leather Ridge products are made with with real leather, which (like skin) can dry out if mistreated.

 

2) NEVER store near sharp objects.

 

3) NEVER submerge in water.

 

4) KEEP AWAY from high levels of humidity and moisture

 

5) KEEP AWAY from high levels of enclosed heat, such as a hot car. 

 

5) NEVER blow-dry or heat-dry your leather. If it accidentally gets wet, gently dab with a dry cloth, then set the damp item in a dark dry place and allow it to air dry.

  • When fully dry, treat leather surfaces with a small amount of leather conditioner.
