    Keeps everything in one place

    Everyone knows how good the Ridge wallets are, this adds that little something extra. Using MagSafe it attaches to the iPhone and holds in place the backplate they give is strong, and will have to test ability to use MagSafe chargers before I install it. Combined i would say it is the most secure way to keep everything together.

    Perfect upgrade to match my phone

    I've been carrying my Ridge carbon for a number of years now and I love it. With the growing prominence of Apple MagSafe and now Google Pixelsnap, the option to snap a minimalist wallet to the back of your phone is now an expected convenience. Thanks to these new plates, my existing Ridge can keep up with the times and remain my favorite minimalist EDC wallet. Also, the fresh plates make it look brand new again.

    Keep in mind that it does stay in place a lot better with the strengthening tray and that the tray is mounted with adhesive. It does add some thickness to the case or device and will likely cover the kickstand if your case has one. That being said, it does work well enough without the tray for a shopping run.

    As an added bonus, the Ridge cardholder easily and firmly attaches to my new wallet plate when it's not on my phone. Overall, these plates make my Ridge much more versatile and relevant. Given the fact that Qi2 technology is here to stay and sure to spread, this is definitely a recommended upgrade, unless you really just want to buy a whole new wallet
