Love my new MKBHD Dark Mode Wallet

I was skeptical at first about buying Ridge wallets. Now having used one for over a month now I can say it’s a great buy. It’s way smaller than my old wallet. I wish they had these when I was younger. I recommend buying on for yourself.

Lasts forever

While it takes a little getting used to, I found it easier to use over time. The real plus, it’s not having to buy RF ID protector timing again because they fell apart.

You get what you pay for

I bought a minimalist wallet that was supposed to have RFID blocking tech in it from an online retailer whose name rhymes with Shmamazon. I really liked the wallet and used it for quite a while. I was at an expo recently and it seems that there was someone walking around with a skimmer because the day after I got home I had fraudulent charges on both of my credit cards. I didn't use them over the weekend - they stayed in my wallet.

I like the Ridge wallet. It is small and holds all of the things I carry on a daily basis. This particular version doesn't have the money clip on it but has a band instead. I like this as I found that the clip irritates my leg (I keep it in my front pocket). The band has a metal plate with some rubber dots on it to keep money from sliding around. If this blocks RFID skimmers as advertised, it is worth the money. I have seen a few independent YouTubers run tests on it and it passed, so I am confident.

Birthday Gift

This wallet is a birthday gift for my youngest son. I have seen what he carries as a wallet and it is pretty awful. I hope this will change things for him. I am impressed with the look and material it is made from. This wallet will truly last a lifetime.
