TBH, I have all the Chinese Ridge knockoffs and they're okay, BUT there is a significant difference in quality between them and the Ridge. I splurged and bought the Burnt Platinum Ridge Wallet. Beautiful! This extra strap and plate was for the wallet. If you got the bucks this is a great investment. All their products are first class!
This is so much thinner than the Money clip. If you carried a lot of cash, the clip may be better, but the strap is the way to go for my several bills. It securely holds the cash, looks clean, and adds little weight to the wallet. And there are no sharp corners.
I ordered the MagSafe upgrade kit for my wallet and it didn’t come with the cash strap plate. Customer Service was very apologetic and helpful in sending out one free of charge and also included a free money clip and extra cash strap. The plate works great on the wallet.
