I bought a name-brand competitor's $150 bag at a discount retailer after the self-repairing YKK zipper had come apart in a way that it could not secure the contents. I had used it once. My grand daughter came to see us with a pink Ridge Long Haul kit, and I had a bit of time to look at your product closely. The suitcases are very well put together, and the end-points on the zippers appear to be secured in a manner that would not allow them to be separated. The multiple interior sections and separators are logically sized to be able to separate clothing well. The hinge appears to be of high quality as well. The compartment for the air tag is a nice touch, and the integrated TSA locks work well regardless of how jam-packed the contents are. I asked my daughter about them and this is the brand that they use for themselves as well. Full disclosure, we have not used them yet on a plane trip but I have no concerns based on experience and close analysis of them - I am very impressed. And the lifetime warranty says a lot.
