Got the combo. The carry on came inside the check in. I've been using the (orange) carry on once a month for over a year and I love it. Compact vented and easy to open and find everything. The water resistance is a nice thing in case I go on a trip and my luggage seats out at all. Didn't have any issues flying southwest. Used the backpack and carry on and didn't have any issues worked perfect for my trip. Didn't need to pick up luggage or anything.
I have 4 ridge products and all of them I love. The backpack is super light feels durable. Love that it's water resistant just in case. I love the 2 packets into the same compartment a really good idea to keep everything in and have it easly accessible. The carry on rolls wonderfuly and I can pack everything I need for a couple of days i go out if town for work. Would recommend just wish that had a build your own pack. Would of been nice to buy all 4 in a combo.
